BCC Mro Serif Font is an official Unicode typeface created by the Government of Bangladesh through the ICT Division and Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC) as part of the “Digitization of Ethnic Languages” initiative. The font supports the Mro language used by indigenous communities in the Chittagong Hill Tracts region.
Featuring a serif-based design optimized for readability and clarity, BCC Mro Serif was developed to encourage digital use of the Mro script in education, publishing, and online communication.
