Avory Font Family

Avory Font Family is a subtly condensed sans-serif that pushes against convention. Leaning toward the expressive side, it stands out with features like a low optical center and wide horizontal crossbars, giving it a distinctive look. Tall with broad shoulders, it remains clearly recognizable even from a distance. Drawing inspiration from the lettering of Czech designer Jaroslav Benda—an underappreciated gem of mid-century graphic design—it has evolved into a fully equipped typographic tool. The family includes nine weights, complete italics, small caps, an extensive set of symbols, and added support for Greek and Cyrillic scripts. It comes in two versions, like two different outfits: retro-chic or smart-casual.
