Godya Display Font is a Balinese script typeface designed with a decorative purpose rather than for long-text reading. In current practice, Balinese script is most commonly used as a complementary element on street signs, business signage, and various public communication media, where its size is often noticeably smaller than Latin characters. As a result, Balinese script frequently appears visually secondary.
Through the creation of Godya Display, this project aims to allow Balinese script to stand out and visually coexist on equal footing alongside Latin typography.
