Kicker Sans Serif Font is designed to be layered. Mix and match the various thicknesses to create outlines, inlines, and double inlines. The variable font gives you even more variety and the ability to create even deeper stacks.
Kicker was originally designed for Design Week Portland, back in 2012. The city’s wealth of neon signs(Roseway Theater) served as the initial inspiration, and a sporty flair was brought in to highlight the friendly competitive side of the design community.
Since then, we’ve added lowercase, broader language support, revisited the spacing and kerning, and added a variable font.
