This serif typeface was designed to be simple and neutral on text sizes, there descender proportions are short and the x-height is large. It has roots in expressive calligraphic motions, compelled into stable typographic shapes. Loretta is perfect for editorial use in books and on the web because it has low contrast and open shapes that give it ideal legibility. The italic is vibrant and complements the regular with style.
