Ohno Blazeface Font Family is a bold and exuberant “fat-face” display serif designed by James Edmondson for OH no Type Co. Its forms are exaggerated and full-bodied, with very high contrast — but unlike many traditional fat-faces, it intentionally avoids awkward negative space by favoring generous, confident letter shapes.
The font comes in nine optical sizes, in both Roman and Italic, making it super flexible for use across different scales — from tight editorial headlines to large-format display work.
In the Italic, strokes end in a subtle teardrop shape, giving letters like f, x, and z an especially lively and positive feel.
Why use it:
Ideal for attention-grabbing headlines, posters, packaging, and branding.
Its strong contrast and thick serifs make it visually powerful — perfect when you want a font that’s bold, playful, and full of character.
The optical sizes let you get just the right weight and spacing depending on whether something is big or small.
