Trente Cinq is defined by its condensed proportions and friendly demeanor, featuring primarily rounded shapes with sharpened terminals. The typeface also incorporates a subtle reverse contrast effect, with heavier horizontal strokes than vertical ones. The significant x-height, aligned ascenders and capital letters, and low descenders make Trente Cinq ideal for compact compositions and tight line spacing.
An alternate set of characters offers more conventional shapes for letters like “v,” “n,” “m,” and “b.” This alternative enhances flexibility, allowing designers to customize the font to better suit their message. The default set remains intentionally more rounded, maintaining the unique identity of Trente Cinq.
