Wes – Serif Vintage Font, eated during an online course at the TypeType School of fonts and typography, the Wes font draws inspiration from Wes Anderson’s iconic aesthetic – think symmetrical compositions, pastel palettes, and whimsical storytelling. Designer Yelena Madyankina, a devoted fan of Anderson’s films, aimed to produce a font ideal for Wes Anderson movie credits, posters, and titles.
Influenced by Woody Allen’s signature use of Windsor Light Condensed (white text on black background), Wes blends traditional serif elements with emotional, introverted character. It captures the essence of a “deep and rich inner world,” making it versatile for cinematic branding, editorial design, and creative projects.
