Relaate Font is a multi-genre type family. It’s a group of fonts which share certain features, but each of them is much more independent and unique than you would expect from a type family.
Each member of Relaate family is an individual: elegant Serif, brutal Slab and quirky tall Grotesque. They treat the family characteristics in different ways, which are more natural for each genre. If you compare such letters as a, e, t, f, r, and many others, you’ll see what I mean.
This approach gives a wide range of use. The fonts are meant to be used together, independently, or in combinations with others. But Relaate is not a workhorse; actually quite the opposite — a specific type for specific projects. Obviously, its main use is headlines, posters, logotypes and other eye-catching display stuff.
