Siche Text Font is a fierce wedge-serif Typeface System, carved for both editorial purposes and display usage. Its core lies were calligraphic elements blend with a rigid, mechanical flavor. This project began in 2021; after months of experimentation with optical (dis)illusions and legibility across different type-sizes. The discourse found between sharp spikes and the squared forms led to a design able to integrate both the edgy and the soft.
With its bold aesthetic, Siche thrives in wild typographical playgrounds, embracing unorthodox approaches, alongside more casual and relaxed design environments. If you’re seeking a perfect complement, Siche Display offers a set of compressed styles at the very end of the Siche System’s design space.
The ultimate goal for Siche System is to become variable. In the meantime, Siche Text Roman Regular supports 96 Latin languages.
