Stepovik SP Font is a folk-style display typeface with a lively, slightly “dancing” rhythm. Its design inherits and reinterprets the Slavic uncial tradition: large silhouettes, logical strokes, and letterforms are translated into a more modern, decorative presentation. Internal insets and unconventional connections give the line an expressive and handcrafted feel—as if it were woodcarving or a hand stamp, rather than the sterile typography of a scribe. The typeface is at its best in large font sizes—for headlines, covers, posters, packaging, and logos—when a folkloric character and recognizable Slavic aesthetic are needed.
The basic version supports about 186+ languages (Russian, English, Spanish, etc.) and is available for free. The full version includes numerals and punctuation and costs only $5.
