CAT Altgotisch is another highly ornate font of the late 19th century. The name Altgotisch (old gothic) is almost misleading because it refers to a significantly more stringent form, however this font was built upon old gothic writings.
But what can you do with such a dated font these days? Such ornate fonts are still popular for writing initials or used for monograms that can be well accommodated on pins. Such metal pins with their own logo are always a good advertising medium because they are commonly collected, and can be looked at even after years as an eye-catcher.
