DM Sans Font Family

DM Sans Font is a free sans-serif font family of 8 fonts, meticulously crafted with geometric shapes and inspired by modern sans-serif typefaces. The letterforms are clear, simple, and balanced to allow clarity and help the typeface communicate contents in a neutral, objective sound.

DM Sans font family includes three weights with matching italics, as well as a monospaced version and serif version that comes in both text and display optical sizes. It also has a wide range of OpenType features such as tabular figures, numerators and denominators, scientific inferiors, superscript and subscript numbers, lining figures, and case-sensitive forms.

DM Sans supports the extended set of Latin glyphs, enabling typesetting for English and other Western European languages. This font was commissioned by Google Fonts and released in 2019. The design was derived from Poppins by Jonny Pinhorn.

DM Sans font has open counters, a large x-height, and wide proportions to suit small sizes and small screens.
